Nickel 205 (N02205) is a high-purity nickel alloy, similar to Nickel 201, with a nickel content of at least 99.6%. It is specifically designed for applications that require excellent corrosion resistance and high thermal and electrical conductivity. This alloy offers outstanding resistance to corrosive environments, including alkaline and neutral media, making it ideal for use in chemical, petrochemical, and marine applications. Nickel 205 is also resistant to stress corrosion cracking and embrittlement in harsh conditions. It maintains good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures (up to 600°C or 1112°F) and exhibits excellent formability and weldability, making it easy to fabricate into various shapes, particularly wire and thin sheets. The alloy's non-magnetic nature and excellent conductivity make it ideal for electronic and electrical applications. It is commonly used in applications such as electrical contacts, resistors, and heat exchangers where resistance to corrosion and high performance are critical.

Nickel 205 has a very high purity (greater than 99.6%), which imparts excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion, particularly in alkali and acidic environments.
It is an excellent conductor of both electricity and heat, which makes it ideal for use in electronic and electrical applications, such as resistors, capacitors, and high-temperature wires.
