Nickel 201 is a commercially pure nickel alloy (99.6% minimum nickel content) with a low carbon content (max 0.02%), which enhances its performance in high-temperature applications. This alloy offers excellent resistance to corrosion in a variety of harsh environments, including acidic, alkaline, and seawater conditions. Nickel 201 retains its mechanical properties, even at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for use in heat exchangers, chemical processing equipment, and other high-temperature industrial environments.
The alloy is known for its good electrical and thermal conductivity, non-magnetic properties, and excellent weldability, making it easy to fabricate into various shapes and forms. - Low-Carbon Content: Nickel 201 is a commercially pure nickel with a lower carbon content compared to Nickel 200, which helps prevent embrittlement by intergranular carbon at temperatures over 315°C (600°F)
