Product Description
The drill pipe is a steel pipe with a thread at the tail, which is used to connect the ground equipment of the drilling rig with the drilling equipment at the bottom of the well or bottom hole equipment. The purpose of the drill pipe is to transport the drilling mud to the drill bit and raise, lower or rotate the bottom hole together with the drill bit. The drill pipe must be able to withstand huge internal and external pressure, twisting, bending and vibration. In the process of oil and gas extraction and refining, the drill pipe can be used many times. There are three types of drill rods: kelly, drill rod and weighted drill rod. The connection sequence is square drill pipe (1 piece) + drill pipe (n pieces, determined by the well depth) + counterweight drill pipe (n pieces, determined by the drilling tool assembly design).
