1. S32205 and S31803 are very popular ferritic-austenitic steel grades and are used for a number of applications. The duplex steel is a preferred material for a number of industrial processes, as it possesses good strength and also have “par excellence” corrosion resistance properties. A number of steel suppliers worked towards the refinement of the Duplex S31803, and the new exclusive and desired properties were amalgamated in the new Duplex S32205.
