HT pipe is one of the pioneer stockiest & trader of Duplex S31803 Sheets , which has Higher strength around twice that of Type 304 austenitic stainless steel. Duplex steels are also magnetic, a property that can be used to easily differentiate them from common austenitic grades of stainless.

Duplex S31803 Plates are in most cases, tougher than ferritic stainless steels. Strengths of duplex stainless steels can in some cases be double that for austenitic stainless steels. Whilst Duplex Stainless Steel UNS S31803 Sheets are considered resistant to stress corrosion cracking, they are not as resistant to this form of attack as ferritic stainless steels.
However, the corrosion resistance of the least resistant duplex stainless steels is greater than that for the most commonly used grades of stainless steels, i.e. 304 and 316. The formation of precipitates can embrittle Duplex Stainless Steel UNS S31803 Plates, reducing its ambient temperature ductility and toughness, and can decrease its corrosion resistance.
This leads to reduced plate thicknesses being used in fabrications reducing the weight which is of particular significance in items such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, and structural applications such as bridges. The rate of the precipitation reactions is dependent on the chemical composition of UNS S31803 Duplex Steel Sheets and other metallurgical factors.
