Alloy Properties Overview

Incoloy 825 alloy is carefully formulated with its high nickel content (about 40%) as its core feature, supplemented by appropriate amounts of iron, chromium, copper, molybdenum and titanium. This unique composition design gives the alloy excellent corrosion resistance, especially in terms of stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Stress corrosion cracking is a common failure mode of many metal materials under specific media and stress conditions, and Incoloy 825 alloy effectively reduces this risk through its high nickel content and reasonable alloying design.

The alloy can maintain excellent stability in a variety of corrosive media.
