A rotary actuator is an electrical, fluid-powered, or manual device used for converting electrical energy into rotary or oscillatory motion. These actuators are mainly used in manual or automatic valves operation where the accessibility of utilities like compressed air or electrical power plays a significant role in choosing an actuator.
