Advantages of 6063 aluminum plate.
1. Heat treatment strengthening, high impact toughness, insensitive to lack of.
2. There are thermoplastic, high-speed extrusion into complex structure, thin-walled, hollow profiles or forging into complex structure of forgings, quenching temperature range, quenching sensitivity is low, extrusion and forging after demoulding, as long as the temperature is higher than the quenching temperature. That can be quenched by spraying water or through the water method. Thin-walled parts (6 < 3mm) can also be implemented wind quenching.
3. Welding performance and corrosion resistance, no stress corrosion cracking tendency, in the heat treatment can be strengthened aluminum alloy, Al-Mg-Si system alloy is not found in the stress corrosion cracking phenomenon of the alloy.
4. The surface is very bright and clean after processing, and it is easy to be anodized and colored. The disadvantage is that if the quenching is stopped at room temperature for a period of time after aging, it will bring adverse effect on the strength (stopping effect).
