Guangda offers open die forging. It forms heated metal by force between the top and bottom molds. The term open mold comes from the fact that an artifact is not closed. With each successive stroke of the metal, it gradually shapes to the desired size, increasing its strength and grain structure.
Open die forging process means that high precision parts cannot be formed only by forging process. As a result, post-forging processing is often required to achieve the desired detail finish. Our unique forging equipment enables forging with tight tolerances to reduce the number of finished parts required for machining.
