Petroleum coke
It is a black or dark gray hard solid petroleum product with metallic luster and is porous. Petroleum coke components are hydrocarbons, containing above 85% carbon, 1.5-8% hydrogen, nitrogen, chlorine, sulfur and heavy metal compounds.
Applications
Calcined petroleum coke can be widely used in steelmaking, chemical industry, building materials, foundry materials, machinery,petroleum exploration and other industries.
(1) It can be used in the carbon industry: carbon for aluminum, graphite electrodes, graphite anodes, carbon electrodes, carbon anodes, carbon refractory carbon paste products, high-purity graphite, graphite
products, graphite chemical equipment, etc.
(2) The main raw materials of carbon enhancer and foaming agent for steelmaking.
(3)The basic chemical raw materials for the preparation of sodium hydride and high-purity CO in the chemical industry.
(4) Important raw materials for processing mechanical seals in the machinery industry.
