The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR670 is a 2U rack server that has been designed to support up to eight high-performance GPUs. The server now supports second-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and is ideal for running AI, HPC, and VDI workloads.
As more workloads leverage the capabilities of accelerators, the demand for GPU´s increases. The ThinkSystem SR670 V2 delivers optimal performance across industry verticals including retail, manufacturing, financial services and healthcare allowing for greater extraction of insights to drive innovation using machine learning and deep learning.
The NVIDIA® A100 Tensor Core GPU delivers unprecedented acceleration—at every scale—to power the world’s highest performing elastic data centers for AI, data analytics, and high-performance computing (HPC) applications. The A100 can efficiently scale up or be partitioned into seven isolated GPU instances, with Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) providing a unified platform that enables elastic data centers to dynamically adjust to shifting workload demands.
The ThinkSystem SR670 V2 is designed to support the vast NVIDIA Ampere datacenter portfolio including NVIDIA HGX A100 4-GPU with NVLink, up to 8 NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core GPU with NVLink Bridge, and NVIDIA A40 Tensor Core GPU with NVLink bridge. Some models feature Lenovo Neptune™ hybrid cooling module which quickly dissipates heat in a closed loop liquid-to-air heat exchanger, delivering the benefits of liquid cooling without adding plumbing.

Featuring the second generation of the Intel Xeon Processor Scalable Family (Xeon SP Gen 2), the SR570 server offers balanced performance and storage capacity. The SR570 server supports up to two processors, up to 2933 MHz memory speed, up to 1 TB of memory capacity with TruDDR4 RDIMMs or up to 2.75 TB of memory capacity with a combination of TruDDR4 RDIMMs and Intel DC persistent memory modules (DCPMMs), up to 10x 2.5-inch or 4x 3.5-inch drive bays with an extensive choice of NVMe PCIe SSDs, SAS/SATA SSDs, and SAS/SATA HDDs, and flexible I/O expansion options with a LOM slot and up to 3x PCIe slots.
The SR570 server offers basic software RAID or advanced hardware RAID protection and a wide range of networking options, including selectable LOM, ML2, and PCIe network adapters. The next-generation Lenovo XClarity Controller, which is built into the SR570 server, provides advanced service processor control, monitoring, and alerting functions.
