Advantages: The advantages of LBS positioning are convenience and low cost, because it is positioned through existing base stations. Why do GPS positioning still need LBS positioning?
This is because GPS positioning can only receive signals in places where the sky can be seen. Other places such as cities with dense high-rise buildings, under viaducts, indoors, etc. cannot receive GPS signals or have poor signals. In addition, GPS is easily affected by the weather. The weather is bad and the signal strength is greatly reduced, which greatly affects the positioning effect of the vehicle. Although the positioning accuracy of LBS is not as good as that of GPS, its signal can reach a deeper range than GPS. As long as there is a base station, it can be positioned indoors and is not affected by the weather.
