This Cisco SFP-10G-BX40U compatible transceiver module is designed for long-reach 10Gb/s duplex optical data communications applications such as 10GBASE-ER/EW defined by IEEE 802.3ae. It is with the SFP+ 20-pin connector to allow hot-plug capability.
This Cisco SFP-10G-BX40U transceiver module is compliant with SFF-8431,SFF-8432 standards. Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I2C interface, as specified in SFF-8472.
