This Cisco GLC-FE-100EX compatible 100BASE EX SFP supports data rate of 155Mbps and 40km transmission distance with SMF at a nominal wavelength of 1310nm via an LC connector.
Each SFP transceiver module is individually tested to be used on a series of Cisco switches, routers, servers, network interface cards (NICs), for example, 1900/2900/3900/7600/892F/ASR 1000/ASR 9000 Series Router, etc.
This 100BASE EX transceiver performs identically to the Cisco GLC-FE-100EX SFP transceiver but more cost effective.
