Description

 

Gigaopto’s GTS-L1330-10DCTN 3G SDI Video SFP TX Transmitter Module is designed for single-channel video transmission applications over 10km transmission on SMF via 1310nm Wavelength with a simplex LC connector, It supports the data rates from 50Mb/s to 2.97Gb/s,This transmitter is specifically designed for robust performance in the presence of SDI pathological patterns for SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M,SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424M serial rates.

This transmitter consists of two sections: a DFB laser transmitter and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.

SMPTE's standards currently call for 259M (SD-SDI), 344M (ED-SDI), 292M (HD-SDI) and 424M (3G-SDI). "SMPTE 424M" is a standard which expands upon SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 344M, and SMPTE 292M allowing for bit-rates of 2.970 Gbit/s and 2.970/1.001 Gbit/s over a single-fiber cable. These bit-rates are sufficient for 1080p video at 50 or 60 frames per second.
