Thankfully, glass pipes are easy to clean with the right tools and gentle touch. Start by using a paper clip (straightened) or a wooden skewer to carefully scrape excess resin out of your pipe. Then, cover the mouthpiece opening with a tough tape (just something stronger than classic masking tape). Next, pour some Formula 420 (a non-toxic, environmentally friendly, highly rated pipe cleaning solution) into the bowl so that it fills about half of the pipe. Cover the other holes with your fingers and vigorously (but carefully) shake the pipe. Rinse with warm water, and repeat all steps if needed!
So what exactly is a bong? What are the physical parts that make up a bong? Well, we are happy to break it down for you. A bong typically consists of 4 different main components. This is where the physical connection between you and your bong begins. Going down the bong, you have the neck. The neck is typically where an ice catcher would be found if your piece has one. Other than that, the neck is for providing a direct line up your bong to deliver you those milky hits. The chamber is where a lot of the magic happens within the bong. Bongs provide diffusion to your rips making them nice and smooth. This can’t be done without the chamber housing the water that diffuses your rips! Lastly, you have the bowl. The bong bowl is where you put all of your herb of choice that is ready to be lit and consumed. The bowl piece of a bong offers you a good bit of accessorization and personalization. You can get big ones, tiny ones, and everything in between
