Galvanized Steel Coil Introduction
Cold rolled galvanized coil is a kind of galvanized steel sheet. Steel sheets and coils are classified into hot-rolled and cold-rolled according to rolling. Cold-rolled sheet is flat, rectangular, and can be directly rolled.
Cold rolling is a steel coil that is further thinned to a target thickness at room temperature. Compared with hot-rolled steel sheet, cold-rolled steel coil has more accurate thickness, smooth and beautiful surface, and also has various superior mechanical properties, especially in terms of processability. Because cold-rolled raw coils are relatively brittle and hard, and are not suitable for processing, cold-rolled steel coils are usually required to be annealed, pickled and surface smoothed before being delivered to customers.

Advantages: high forming speed, high output, and no damage to the coating, can be made into a variety of cross-sectional forms to meet the needs of use conditions; cold rolling can make the steel produce a large plastic deformation, thereby improving the yield of the steel point. Disadvantages: 1. The cold-rolled section steel is generally an open section, which makes the section free Torsional stiffness is low. It is prone to torsion during bending, and bending-torsional buckling is prone to occur during compression, and the torsional resistance is poor; 3. The wall thickness of cold-rolled formed steel is small, and there is no thickening at the corners where the plates are connected, which can withstand localized stress. The ability to concentrate loads is weak.
Applications of GI Sheet&Coils
(1) It has good durability and has a longer life compared with galvanized steel;
(2) It has good heat resistance and is less prone to discoloration at high temperature than galvanized steel; (3) It has good heat reflectivity;
(4) It has a gorgeous surface of silvery white;
(5) It has processing performance and spraying performance similar to galvanized steel sheet;
(6) It has good welding performance.
Cold-rolled sheet has good properties, that is, cold-rolled strip and steel sheet with thinner thickness and higher precision can be obtained by cold-rolling, with high flatness, high surface finish, clean and bright surface of cold-rolled sheet, and easy to be coated. It has a wide range of processing and varieties, and has a wide range of uses. At the same time, it has the characteristics of high stamping performance, no aging, and low yield point. Therefore, cold-rolled sheets have a wide range of uses, mainly used in automobiles, printed iron drums, construction, building materials, bicycles and other industries.
