HOT ROLLED GALVANIZED STEEL COIL FOR CONSTRUCTION The thickness of hot-rolled galvanized coils is generally 2-4mm, and the width is 1000-1600mm. The intersection with the coverage area of cold-rolled galvanized coils is not too large, so the interchangeability is not too strong. Its biggest advantage is that the raw material has not been processed by cold rolling, so the price is cheaper and the production cost is lower. Its process is characterized by the use of pickling pre-treatment instead of alkali washing, no recrystallization annealing in the heating furnace, as long as it reaches the iron oxide reduction temperature, generally 550 °C. The characteristics of its products are that due to the high roughness of the original coil, the coating is thicker and the spangles are smaller during the galvanizing process, so the amount of galvanizing is often large, and it is difficult to produce products with thinner coatings.
