STN Technology:
Super Twisted Nematic (STN) is an enhanced version of the TN (Twisted Nematic) technology, where the liquid crystals are "twisted" in a way that results in improved optical performance.

Like other segmented LCDs, STN Segment LCDs display information using a series of segments (such as a 7-segment display for numeric data or other segmented patterns for alphanumeric characters or symbols).
