Notices: The differences between TN, STN, and VA LCD types?
TN (Twisted Nematic) LCD screens, the twisted orientation of the liquid crystal molecules is deflected by 90°. The display content is relatively simple, and the main features are relatively black fonts, high contrast, low power consumption, and driving voltage, but a small viewing angle. Common applications are clock products, calculators, etc.
STN (Super Twisted Nematic) LCD screens, the liquid crystal rotates 180~270 degrees in the LCD screen, the viewing angle is better, and there are generally gray films, yellow-green films, and blue films. Widely used in high-channel COB/COG, such as communication equipment, etc.
VA (Vertical Alignment) LCD screens, black background, and color patterns, high contrast, can achieve a multi-color silk screen display effect, and have certain requirements for driving voltage. It is mostly used for segment COB and low-channel drive.
