Leno, also known as mesh cloth, is a kind of perforated fabric woven with leno weave. Its characteristic is that the two sets of warp yarns, the ground warp and the twisted warp, are interwoven with a set of weft yarns. Fine special yarns are often used and woven with a smaller density. The materials used are often pure cotton, polyester cotton and various chemical fibers.
According to different processing, it can be divided into colored leno, bleached leno, printed leno, yarn-dyed leno, jacquard leno and so on. Leno fabric has good air permeability, clear gauze holes, bright cloth surface and cool cloth body. It is mainly used as summer clothing, shawls and mosquito nets.
All woven fabrics made by twisting warp and weft are called leno fabrics, which can be divided into simple and complex yarns. Simple Luo Yarn refers to the structure formed when the skein warp and the ground warp are twisted in a fixed cooperation. The complex yarn means that there is no fixed twist between the twisted warp and the ground warp, so it is called the unfixed twisted twisted roller, or the chain type roller.
