1. Ejection platform

We have developed an innovative discharging platform specifically designed for unloading fresh tomatoes from trucks, significantly improving efficiency compared to manual labor. This platform incorporates water guns to discharge the tomatoes, simultaneously serving as a pre-washing mechanism for the fruits before they enter the processing line. This integrated system streamlines the overall process, ensuring a more efficient and effective workflow.

3. Washing

Prior to crushing, thorough washing of the fresh tomatoes is necessary. A combination of a bubble washer and a spray washer can be employed for effective cleaning. If higher cleaning standards are required, additional cleaning stages can be included. Furthermore, the cleaning process can be enhanced by incorporating ultrasonic cleaning and ozone cleaning techniques.

4. Sorting

Following the washing process, the surface of the fruits becomes clean. At this stage, human inspection is conducted to assess the condition of all the tomatoes and identify any defective ones. Skilled workers carefully examine each fruit using their expertise and sort out the bad tomatoes by hand. This manual sorting process ensures that only the highest quality tomatoes proceed further in the production line.

5. Crushing for tomato processing

The GFM-FC series crusher stands out as an incredibly advanced machine, incorporating exceptional working principles, unparalleled production precision, and the highest crushing capacity. Its primary purpose revolves around efficiently crushing an extensive variety of fruits and vegetables. This machine excels at grinding the raw materials into fine particles, significantly boosting the efficiency of subsequent processing stages. Its key components encompass a feed hopper, side cover, frame, main shaft, bearing block, motor, motor structure, exit hopper, and other essential elements.

6. Preheating

A pre-heater is used to heat the product after grinding, and the temperature is usually adjustable from 45°C to 85°C. This processing step helps increase the juice percentage for the next step and can also preserve the color and taste of the final product.

7. Pulper and refiner

This machine also runs at a speed of 1470 r/min, creating centrifugal force to force the product through the screen, helping to purify the product. We usually use his two stages, Pulper and Refiner, but each stage has a different screen, with a larger screen in the first stage and a smaller screen in the second stage. Double stage pulping machine for tomato pulp yield can reach 90%~95%. After pulping, the tomato skin and seeds are separated from the tomato pulp. The machine works with large capacity and stable performance. Easy to operate and replace sieves. 8. Evaporating

Vacuum evaporator is used to concentrate tomato paste under vacuum and low temperature. A forced circulation vacuum evaporator is used here. Since it is finished at a vacuum low temperature, it does not miss the taste and nutrients as much as possible. Then the water is evaporated from the tomato pulp to make a tomato paste. Brix is typically 28-30%, 36-38%.

9. Sterilizing

A tube-in-tube type sterilizer is used to sterilize tomato paste. Sterilization temperature and holding time are adjustable. This machine is used to heat tomato paste to a very high temperature of about 115°C, hold for 30 seconds, and then quickly cool to ambient temperature. It can also protect as long as the whole system adopts programmable control. The operation system uses an image man-machine interface that is convenient for intuitively grasping the operation status of each part of the device.

10. Aseptic Filling

The aseptic filling machine operates in conjunction with a tube-in-tube type sterilizer, forming a closed cycle. Prior to production, the cycle undergoes complete sterilization to establish an aseptic environment. It also ensures the protection of the filling cavity from steam and maintains a sterile filling environment. The machine incorporates various security measures, including mirror welding technology to create clean and seamless welding lines. It features an independent control panel and offers options for CIP (Clean-in-Place) and Auto SIP (Sterilize-in-Place) functions within the sterilizer. Additionally, it can be easily adjusted to accommodate different capacities and sizes of sterilization bags.

The finished product can be stored or used as the raw material to make the tomato sauce or ketchup.
