Miniature Washer Load Cell FDBF is made of stainless steel based on strain gauge technology to deliver maximum 0.5% non-linearity of the rated capacity. Small size donut load cell FDBF offers 0-5kgf / 0-10kgf / 0-20kgf / 0-50kgf / 0-100kgf five rated measuring ranges to choose from.Washer type load cell FDBF features a 6.6mm hole locates at the center of the transducer, so the load structure can pass through the sensor, which makes model FDBF an excellent option for tightening and clamping force measurement.Forsentek can also provide custom made service for the thru-hole load cells.

Output signal of load cell FDBF:

Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Micro Hollow Load Cell FDBF is normally around 1.5mV/V.
Power supply of Washer Type Force Sensor FDBF is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Clamping Force Transducer FDBF is normally within 0…+22.5mV.

Example one: Miniature Through Hole Load Cell FDBF-100kg with 1.5mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is 0mV...+15mV.
Example two: Micro Hollow Type Load Cell FDBF-20kg with 1.5mV/V rated output powered by 5V DC,the output range is 0mV...+7.5mV.

The mV/V output from the wheatstone bridge sometimes can hardly be processed directly, a signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver 0~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.

Example: Micro Washer Load Cell FDBF-100kg working with amplifier FSC(0-10V)-24V,the Load-Voltage relationship will be 0-100kg compression force VS 0-10V output, which is linear regardless of the measurement error, 1V output corresponds to 10kg compression load, 2V output corresponds to 20kg compression load, and so on.

Load cell FDBF can also work with digital indicator FPT to deliver below functions:

-Display force value in real time

-Peak holding to grab the maximum force during testing

-RS485 or RS232 interface

-0-5V/0-10V/4-20mA analog output

-Switch output
