For effective dust suppression, atomised water droplets should be of a comparable size to the dust particles. Only then can the water droplets and dust mix and then drop to the ground. Bigger water droplets tend to push away the dust particles due to the slipstream effect, but can travel further. SX special full cone nozzles atomise water down to 10µ and 100µ to achieve optimum balance.
SX trailer mounted mist cannons have a unique pump system with an integrated variable speed design to adjust the consumption rate according to operational requirements. Hence Mobile Dust Suppression Cannons save water, or any other liquid, that is used with the cannon.
