Overview of FM200 Heptafluoropropane Fire Extinguishing System
The external pressure storage type heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system stores the heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent in a liquid state in a container, without nitrogen pressurization. The storage pressure is only the saturated vapor pressure of the fire extinguishing agent, and the compressed gas used as the power for spraying the fire extinguishing agent is stored in another container at a higher pressure. When the system is working, the high-pressure power gas is decompressed by the pressure reducing valve and then injected into the fire extinguishing agent storage bottle (at the same time, the bottle head valve of the container bottle is opened). The power gas pushes the fire extinguishing agent (through the siphon and bottle head valve) to move forward at high speed along the pipe network system, and sprays and extinguishes the fire at the nozzle in the protection area. Since the fire extinguishing agent and the power gas are stored in different containers, two problems can be solved: first, the fire extinguishing agent does not come into contact with nitrogen during storage, and the gas will not be dissolved in the fire extinguishing agent due to the use of nitrogen pressurization; second, after the system is started, the pressure during the transportation and spraying of the fire extinguishing agent is always higher than its storage pressure, and the phenomenon of fire extinguishing agent vapor and nitrogen precipitation will not occur, which effectively alleviates the occurrence of two-phase flow phenomenon during the transportation of the fire extinguishing agent. Therefore, the flow state of the fire extinguishing agent is stable during the transportation process, and the power gas is always at the end of the fire extinguishing agent, pushing the liquid fire extinguishing agent to move rapidly in the pipeline in the form of a single-phase fluid. Its speed is faster and more stable than that of the pressure storage system, which greatly improves the ability of the pipeline to transport the fire extinguishing agent, thereby extending the transportation distance, increasing the spraying pressure of the fire extinguishing agent, and realizing the use of thinner pipelines to transport more fire extinguishing agents. Normally, the pressure in the fire extinguishing agent container is only the saturated vapor pressure of the fire extinguishing agent, and the filling density of the container can be greatly improved; by adjusting the pressure and configuring the amount of nitrogen, the inlet pressure of the fire extinguishing agent nozzle can be increased, which can improve the atomization effect of the fire extinguishing agent and enhance the fire extinguishing effect of the fire extinguishing agent.
