The Fluted Plastic Dunnage Sheet is a well-established product for delivering Solar Silicon Wafers of Photovoltaic Cells to the Photovoltaic Cells assembly lines. The sheets are made from fluted /corrugated polypropylene sheets which are extruded from HDPP (high-density polypropylene) resin.

The Solar Silicon Wafers are very fragile and vulnerable. It will be a lot of damages if the wafers are not protected well during transportation.
Traditionally, paper cardboards are put between the Solar Silicon Wafers as the buffer material. However, the broken rate of the Solar Silicon Wafers during the transportation is still high, because the paper cardboard is not flexible and strong enough for buffering the impact between silicon wafers. Furthermore, paper cardboards are not water-repellent. When the paper cardboard absorbs water, it will lose rigidness and will be expanded, which will result in additional damage to the silicon wafers.
Compared with the paper cardboard, the fluted plastic sheets are the desired material to be the buffer material due to its nature of shatter resistance, and water repellence.
According to the feedback from our customers, the damage rate of Solar Silicon Wafers decreased significantly after using our Fluted Plastic Dunnage Sheets.
