Introduction
The aerated stirring flotation machine is equipped with a mechanical stirring device, which uses an external fan to forcefully blow in air, but the mechanical stirring device generally only plays a role in stirring the slurry and distributing the air flow. The air is mainly pressed into the slurry by an external fan. Aeration and stirring are separate. Therefore, this type of flotation machine has the following characteristics compared with general mechanical agitation flotation machine:
1. The amount of aeration can be increased or decreased according to needs and is easy to adjust to keep it constant, which is beneficial to improve the processing capacity and sorting index of the flotation machine;
2. The impeller does not have a suction effect, so the speed is low, the power consumption is low, the wear is small, and the brittle minerals are not easy to produce muddy phenomenon;
3. Due to the large processing capacity and shallow tanks, the power consumption per unit processing volume is low. The disadvantage is that a set of air compressor system is needed, and the intermediate product must be pumped by sand pump when returning.
 

Working principle

The ground ore is mixed with water and necessary agents during or after grinding to form a slurry through a stirring tank, and then injected into the slurry tank at the beginning of stirring. Air is introduced into the slurry to form a large number of bubbles, some of which are not easily exposed to water. Wet, that is, generally called hydrophobic mineral particles are attached to the bubbles and float to the surface of the slurry together with the bubbles to form a layer of mineralized bubbles. Others are easily wetted by water, which are generally called hydrophilic mineral particles. It does not adhere to the bubbles, but stays in the pulp, and discharges the mineralized bubbles containing specific minerals, so as to achieve the purpose of beneficiation.
