AAC: All-aluminum conductor (you can understand it as aluminum stranded wire in overhead cables)
 ACSR: Aluminum Steel Core Stranded Wire
 AAAC: aluminum alloy conductor

Overhead wire
 Overhead conductors are used for overhead power lines. Our company produces them according to GB/T1179-1999 "Circular Concentric Stranded Overhead Conductors". It can also be produced according to British BS standards, American ASTM standards, or according to user requirements.

Standards
This product is manufactured according to GB9329-88 and GB/T1179-1999. The heat-treated aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy has good tensile strength, and its conductivity is only about 10% lower than that of aluminum wires. It can be used for general large-span transmission lines. 
 

Description 
 Hard drawn Aluminum wires , stranded in successive layers , in opposite direction to form the Aluminum stranded AAC conductor, As per BS EN 50182 or IEC 61089.
  

It is suitable for overhead large-span power transmission lines. It is suitable for overhead transmission lines with long span or heavy ice and snow. The anti-corrosion type can be used in coastal or corrosive climate construction sites.
