VV22 is a PVC insulated PVC sheathed steel tape armored power cable; the first V is PVC insulated, the second V is PVC sheathed, and 22 means a steel tape armored power cable, complete The expression is VV22-voltage level, the number of cable cores X the cross-sectional area of cable cores, such as VV22-1KV 5X50+240.
Features:
1. The long-term maximum working temperature of the cable conductor shall not exceed 70°C.
2. When short-circuited (the longest duration does not exceed 5S), the maximum temperature of the cable conductor does not exceed 160°C.
3. The ambient temperature when laying the cable is not lower than 0°C, and the minimum bending radius is 20 times the diameter of the cable.
Conditions of Use:
VV22 cables are suitable for direct burial underground, and can be laid indoors, in cable trenches, tunnels and pipelines. The cables can withstand certain mechanical external forces, but cannot withstand large tensile forces.
Number of cores: one core (single core), two cores (dual core), three cores, four cores (including "3+1" and fourth cores), five cores (including "4+1", "3+ 2” and fifth core).
1.Standard
The cable is manufactured according to the standard GB 12706-91 or IEC60502.It is suitable to be installed in the power transmission and distribution lines with rated voltage of 0.6/1 KV(U0/U).
2.Maximum rated temperature (1)The maximum operating temperature of cores shall not exceed 90C, when the cable is used for long period. The temperature of cores shall not exceed 250℃ at short circuit fors seconds. (2)The installation of cables is not limited by the difference of level along the route. The ambient temperature should not be below 0℃ during installation. The minimum bending radius shall not be less than 10 times of the cable overall diameter when laying.
