Product Description
WG Type Gear Tooth Coupling is suitable for connecting two horizontal axes transmission shafting. It has the capability of compensating relative deviation of two axes and belongs to movable rigid coupling.
Drum shaped gear couplings are nigid flex couplings. Gear couplings are composed of internal gears with the same number of teeth and flanged half couplings with external teeth. External teeth are divided into two types of straight teeth and drum teeth. Drum tooth couplings allow larger angular displacements (relative to straight tooth couplings), which can improve the contact conditions of the teeth, improve the ability to transmit torque, and extend the service life.
Advantages of gear couplings
1. Strong carrying capacity. Under the same outer diameter of the inner sleeve and the large outer diameter of the coupling, the bearing capacity of the gear coupling is on average 15 to 20% higher than that of the straight gear coupling
2. Large amount of angular displacement compensation.
