Flake ice has a large surface area [thickness 1.8mm ~2.2 mm], a target object can be cooled down quickly. Particularly, it can be used for solving a target object in water and then rapidly freezing it.

Flake ice is a kind of irregular ice with size about 40*40 mm and thickness around 1-2 mm.
