The CY1B rodless cylinder is designed to operate using a unique working principle. This cylinder makes use of a high-strength magnetic ring that is installed on the piston. The magnetic field which is generated by this ring interacts with another set of magnetic rings located on the outer part of the cylinder.
The magnetic rings on both sides have opposite magnetic properties which result in a strong suction force between them. This force is utilized to drive the magnetic ring sleeve outside of the cylinder which, in turn, moves along with the piston pushed by the air pressure inside the cylinder.
The thrust of the cylinder piston needs to be calibrated in a way that matches the suction force of the magnetic ring. This ensures that the cylinder can operate effectively with seamless performance.
