Product Description:

The hydro-electric pressure switch type HED 8 is a piston type pressure switch. It mainly consists of housing, installation kit with piston, compression spring, adjustment element and micro switch.

When the pressure to be monitored meets the preset one, the micro switch will be operated. The pressure is applied on the piston via the nozzle. The piston is supported by the spring plate and the force of the compression spring can be continuously adjusted. The movement of the piston pushes the micro switch and triggers it when the preset pressure is reached. At this point, the electric circuit will switch on or off according to the system setup.

In order to make the system more robust, the spring plate features a mechanical positive stop. It helps to protect the micro switch from mechanical damages caused by sudden pressure drop. Meanwhile, the overpressure will not lead to solid compression of the compression spring.

Notice: To extend the service life of the switch, it should be mounted in low vibration condition and be protected from hydraulic pressure surges.

Features:

< p>For subplate mounting and pipeline installation, the valve block is designed according to ISO 16873 for flange connection and ISO 4401 as a vertical stacking element. With 5 pressure ratings, there are 4 adjustment types available: a spindle with/without protective cap; a spindle with scale, with/without protective cap; a rotary knob with scale; and a lockable rotary knob with scale. The electrical connection can be done either with a large cubic connector or an M12 x 1 connector. Additionally, it also includes a micro switch with NC/NO contact function and potential-free switching of currents from 1 mA to 2 A. It is approved by UL for pressure ranges up to 350 bar. < /p>
