Scope of application:

These requirements cover all roofing materials that leak into the exterior of the building to simulate a fire, and are used for roofing materials installed on combustible or non-combustible substrates. It is to evaluate the fire resistance of roofs and modules under simulated real-world conditions, and to evaluate the grade of the specimen at A1.82m, B 2.4m and C 3.9m. At the same time, it can be used in the flame retardant performance test of photovoltaic cell modules.

Performance Parameters:

Gas burner (for intermittent fire, flame propagation and flying fire test), 1.12m long, 60.3mm in diameter, with a 12.7mm (width) x 0.91m (length) slit on the side towards the test board;

The gas burner can provide 22,000 Btu/min (387 kWh) and can automatically adjust the gas flow rate according to the three combustion levels of A, B and C.

A thermocouple is installed at 58.7mm at the top of the burner, which can test the temperature of 888±28°C;

Automatic ignition system to ensure the safety performance of the test, ignition electrode high voltage is 1.8kVp mass flow controller;

Automatic temperature control system;

Class A, B:760±28℃(1400 ±50℉)- 21,000~ 22,000 Btu/min(369~387 kWh)

- Class C: 704±28°C (1300 ±50°F) -18,000 ~ 19,000 Btu/min (316 ~ 334 kWh) for each gas burner to follow different test and control methods;

High-precision pressure gauge and pressure regulating valve control gas pressure;

- LNG: Precise measurement of gas flow with MFM (air flow is controlled by an automatic control valve);

- LPG: Adjusted air flow rate using an inverter system: 19±8 km/h (5.5m/sec) on the test deck;

The metal mesh grid supports the material, and the pallet can be rotated to facilitate the full combustion of the material;
