Production Description

Maybe little people concern the refuge fire door, but it is about the safety of everyone. When a fire occurs, the refuge fire door can play a role of fire isolation, which helps to protect people's lives.

The refuge fire door is mainly used in the refuge of high-rise buildings. This product combines the production process of fire doors and solid wood doors. The surface of the product can not only meet the aesthetics of the interior doors, but also meet the new "architectural design". The requirements of the National Standard for Fire Protection Regulations (GB50016-2014). The door has a generous design, reasonable structure, strong three-dimensional sense, high grade, strong heat insulation performance and certain sound insulation effect.

In the current National Code of Practice for Fire Protection of High-Rise Civil Buildings, it is required that “a public building with a building height of more than 100m should be provided with a refuge floor (room)”.

A residential building with a building height greater than 100m shall be provided with a refuge floor. The height of the ground floor of the first refuge floor (room) to the fire rescue site on ground shall not exceed 50m, and the height between the two refuge floors shall not be greater than 50m;

For residential buildings with a building height greater than 54m, each household shall have a room that meets the following requirements: it should be placed on the external wall and should be provided exterior open window. The fire resistance of the interior and exterior wall should not be lower than 1.00h. The door of the refuge room should be Grade B fire door, and the fire integrity of the exterior window should not be less than 1.00h.

In order to enhance the safety of high-rise residential buildings, the requirements for the installation of refuge floors for high-rise residential buildings were added to the new Code for Fire Protection of Building Design, which was implemented on May 1, 2015

Hardware

Generally we provide UL listed hardware like fire door closer, fire hinges, fire locks. More options such as panic bars, electric-magnetic door holders and fire door selectors are also available.

Overseas Package

Our fire doors are packed specially for overseas transportation.

Firstly, we wrap one layer PE paper around doors to protect doors from moisture;

Secondly, we clip foam plates around 4 edges and corners to protect doors from strike and impact;

Thirdly, we lay down foam sheets on perlite cotton between foam plates;

Fourthly, we pack the door into strong carton and stick it firmly with tapes.

Besides, we can also make wooden or steel pallet for you. Extra fees will be calculated then.
