Corundum castable refractory is divided into cement-free corundum castable refractory and cement corundum castable refractory. For example, white fused alumina manufactured corundum castable refractory, brown fused alumina manufactured corundum castable refractory.
Corundum castable refractory is the refractory castable prepared from corundum as aggregate and powder plus some binder. It has higher mechanical strength and abrasion resistance than high aluminum refractory castables and mullite refractory castables, It is mainly used as lining material for boilers, hot blast furnaces, heating furnaces, ceramic kilns, etc.
