Product Description

The FM200/NOVEC1230 fire suppression tube is an efficient and environmentally friendly fire extinguishing device using the advanced FM200/NOVEC1230 fire extinguishing agent. Its unique tube design enables the fire extinguishing agent to be released quickly and evenly to achieve rapid fire extinguishing effect.The device consists of a special plastic tube which serves as a detection tube, stainless steel joints at both ends, and a pressure gauge.When a fire breaks out, the heat degrades and melts the storage tube which contains the extinguishing agent under pressure. The melted tube bursts a hole as nozzle, which releases extinguishing agent to suppress the fire.

Product Application

Fire suppression tubes are a new technology design. It is suitable for Class A, B, C and E fires and can be used to protect relatively enclosed spaces, including but not limited to:

u Engine Compartments of Boats and Yachts

u Engine Compartments of All On-Road Vehicles and Off-Road Vehicles: Car, Van, Bus, Mini Bus, Truck, Rally Car, Mining Machine or Construction Machine, etc.

u Electric Panel, Switch Board, Sever Panel, Control Box, etc.

Places where automatic fire suppression tubes are not suitable for extinguishing fires:

u Certain chemicals or chemical mixtures, such as nitrocellulose and gunpowder, which can oxidize rapidly even in the absence of air.

u Reactive metals, such as lithium, sodium, potassium, magnesium, titanium, zirconium, uranium, and plutonium.

u Metal cyanides.

u Chemicals capable of thermal decomposition, such as organic peroxides and hydrazine. 

CAUTION: The tube should not be used as a portable fire extinguisher. Do not attempt to hold the unit in your hand to extinguish the fire or to spray the extinguishing agent directly on the fire.

u 1m/2m tube --- Used for electric panel

u 2.5m tube ------ Used for normal car

u 3m tube --------- Used for SUV

u 4m tube --------- Used for mini bus

u 5m tube --------- Used for medium bus

Product Installation

The fire suppression tube is powerful and effective in its fire suppression and no maintenance is required during its entire 5-year working life. It also does not require any power supply for activation and can be easily installed by anyone.

1. Open the box, and cut the cable ties carefully, don't hurt the tube.

2. The packing kits include the cable ties and tube clamps(with rubber lining), please choose both or either for fixing the tube in the protected enclosed place.

3. Don't use a metal fastening material for installation( Steel clamp, Metal Wire, etc.). There are no rules for the installation shape of the tube. According to the protected space, make sure that it can protect the whole space.

4. Don't get close to the high temperature part in the engine compartments.

5. The minimum bending radius 250mm.

6. Install it in the electrical board.
