Introduction
The plate and shell heat exchanger represents an innovative and versatile solution in the field of heat transfer technology.
This type of heat exchanger is constructed with a set of thin, stamped plates that are assembled in a shell. The plates are designed with specific patterns and grooves that not only create channels for the fluid flow but also promote efficient heat exchange. The fluids, one hot and one cold, are directed through these channels in a counter-current or cross-flow manner.
The laser half-welded plate heat exchanger consists of alternating welded channels and conventional flow channels. Two plates are welded 180 degrees upside down to form a plate group, forming a welded runner; each plate group is sealed with a gasket, forming a removable conventional runner. The sensitive medium flows through the welded flow channel and the regular medium flows through the regular flow channel for heat exchange.
Laser half-welded plate heat exchanger is especially suitable for the evaporation and condensation of refrigerants such as ammonia and Freon, and it is also an ideal heat exchange equipment for the chemical industry and the general process heat exchange medium that produces corrosion to the gasket.
