Introduction:
The plate heat exchanger is composed of a series of metal plates, sealing gaskets, clamping devices and other components. Among them, the metal plate is the core component, and the surface has a specific corrugated shape, which is used to increase the turbulence of the fluid between the plates and improve the heat transfer efficiency. The sealing gasket is used to ensure the sealing between the plates and prevent the mixing of cold and hot fluids. The clamping device clamps the plates and sealing gaskets together to form a complete heat exchanger structure.
How it works
The sealing gasket is attached to the heat transfer plate, forming a flow channel to seal the fluid from leaking out. The number of heat exchange plates is determined based on the amount of fluid, the physical properties of the fluid, pressure drop, and thermal conditions. The cover plate prevents the plate from bending due to pressure difference. In the assembly of the board, the surface with gaskets points towards the fixed cover, and each board is suspended alternately in opposite directions. In this way, the two liquids can flow and transfer heat in their respective regions.
