The bacterial/hydrophobic filters from XINNA are disposable in-line filters with 50mm diameter, they are are constructed of sturdy polypropylene  and hydrophobic PTFE membrane disc which is incorporated in the polypropylene housing as key functional filter medium. The PTFE filter membrane provides optimal protection against bacterial and aerosol contamination and moisture damage, making it an ideal choice for safeguarding vacuum sources and tank or bioreactor venting. One of the significant benefits of these inline hydrophobic filters is their ability to perform in-line sterilization of gases and venting sterile containers. By utilizing these hydrophobic PTFE filters with high gas flow rate, the sterilization process can be conducted more efficiently, ensuring a higher level of hygiene and eliminating potential risks associated with contaminated or moist environments. Additionally, the hydrophobic filter can also be employed for sterilizing or clarifying organic solutions. The 50 mm air vent filter units are also well suited for protecting vacuum lines. Large surface area provides greater throughput. Their larger size allows for better coverage and improved filtration efficiency, minimizing the risk of contaminants entering the system.
