The connection to the tip is stable, ensuring that the spike remains securely in place during the transfer process. The IV Infusion Transfer Spike is made from latex, PVC, and DEHP-free materials, making it safe for use with clinical and pharmaceutical applications. The vented IV transfer spikes are color-coded, with a green flip cap indicating the standard air venting version, while with a blue flip cap indicating both air venting filter and liquid filter are incoporated.
