Air Venting Priming Filter Liquid Lock Priming Filter Caps for I.V. Infusion Sets
The priming filters from us are a type of bacterial air vent with hydrophobic membrane as filter media. The housing is made of medical grade polypropylene (PP) and blue color masterbatch addition. The priming filter caps are widely used to cover the distal end of I.V. tubing lines which is otherwise open and unprotected when not attached to a catheter or a needle. It is a special IV tubing cap incorporated with hydrophobic membrane that eliminates the air and prevents fluid leakage, protecting the tubing and I.V. solution against contamination.
