Silicone coated fiberglass fabric is woven glass cloth coated with red color silicone compound on single side or two sides. The basic cloth is a fire resistant and very high strength fabric. With surface treatment silicone coating, it has better water, oil protection, abrasion resistantce, anti corrosion, chemical agents resistance and tear resistance. 0.8mm silicone coated glass fiber cloth is suitable for fabication. It is one of the main materials of fire blanket and welding protection cover. After cutting and sewing, its edge wion't fray and keep in high strength. 

Total weight of 0.8mm silicone coated fiber glass fabric is 34oz/sq.yd. Standard roll length is 50m and width is 1000mm. This heavy duty silicone coated cloth is able to withstand cintinuous heat from -50 to 260℃. Due to its excellent fire resistance and durable features, silicone coated glass fabric is widely used in many industrial fields like metallurgy, construction, transportation, petroleum, chemical, electrical insulation, aerospace, etc.

1. High tensile strength
Fiber glass cloth is woven by e-glass fiber glass yarns in different weaving style. It is a flexible but durable, abrasion resistant

Fiber glass fabric owns excellent fire retardant features not found in other fabrics. It's an ideal, economical material for fire safety products. Besides, it is eco-friendly so no pollution to environment.
 

3. Chemical resistance
Glass fiber materials is alkali free, anti chemical agents corrosion, it has good stability in chemical environments
 
4. Electirc insulation
Alkali-free glass fiber has high insulation resistance, good dielectric properties, low hygroscopicity. It is an electrical insulating, fire rersistant fabric in the electromechanical industry 
 
Applications
 

• Welding blanket/fire resistant blanket. This heavy duty material is easy to fabricate. It is flexible and suitable for sewing. Cutting edges won't fray and glass fiber won't fall off. And this material is able to protect equipments from spark splash, slag, welding spatter.

• In petrochemical industry. Red silicone coated fiberglass cloth with anti chemical acid and alkali features and high tensile strength. We often use silicone fiber glass cloth to make pipes and storage tanks for storage of strong acid and alkali chemical substances.
