Fiber optic cable is a cable containing one or multiple optical fibers that are used to transmit the signal. The optical fiber elements are typically individually coated with layers and contained in a protective tube suitable for the environment where the cable will be deployed.
Different types of cable are used for different applications, for example long distance telecommunication, or providing a high-speed data connection between different parts of a building.
There are indoor cable and outdoor cable, single mode and multimode cable, simplex, duplex or multi-core cable.
Fiber optic cable GYTA is loose tube style, with metallic central strength member of steel wire/strand and moisture barrier. GYTA cable is protected by PE sheath, suitable for duct and aerial application. The fiber of GYTA cable is color coded as per color coding scheme.
