SMA 905 fiber patch cords make use of threaded connections and are ideal for military applications because of their low cost multimode coupling. Fiber Optics SMA 905 multimode connectors are available with stainless alloy or stainless steel ferrules. The stainless alloy ferrule may be drilled from 125um to 1550um to accept various fiber sizes.
Fiber patch cables, also known as fiber optic patch cords, fiber jumpers or fiber patch cords, is used to connect computer or equipments directly. Singlemode fiber patch cable is primarily used for applications involving extensive distances. Multimode fiber is usually the cable for relatively short distance fiber systems. There are three common core sizes of multimode fiber are OM1 62.5 micron and 50 micron in OM2 or 10 Gigabit Laser Optimized OM3. and for singlemode,9/125 micron is widely used. Duplex fiber cables consist of two fiber cores and can be either multimode or singlemode. We carry both singlemode fiber patch cables and multimode optical fiber patch cables with a variety of connector types such as ST,LC,ST,FC,E2000,MTRJ,SMA,MU,D4,DIN,MPO etc.
