A completed FTTH fiber faceplate ( socket ) should be with the below structure and functions: A fiber faceplate ( socket ) includes front cover and bottom box which provide cable storage, fixing space and device, on-site installation and connector/adapter interface as well as protection for the fiber; It should be with fixing device for the access optical fiber cable and the connection part as well as protecting device for both fiber cable and connection part; with adapter slot for simplex SC or duplex LC adapter ( other option like FC, ST is also available);Cover and bottom box adopts PC (flame retardant polycarbonate) plastic material;The fiber adapter shall be covered with dust-proof cover when it is without inserted fiber.
