FA-FCPS0260, Single Fiber Protection Sleeve Heat Shrinkable Tube For Splicing With Metal Rod

 

Fiberall optical fiber heat shrinkable tube is composed hot melting pipe and stainless steel needle (or ceramic stick / quartz stick). The transparent outer layer is convenient for detecting whether the joint of the optical fiber is connected properly, and the optical fiber can be assembled simply and safely. After contraction, optical transmission property of the optical fiber can be maintained, and the strength and protection can be provided for the optical fiber joint. It is easy for operation and with reliable performance to avoid damage for optical fiber during installation.

After fusion splicing, the fiber joint is without coating and it become very fragile. In order to recover and increase mechanical strength of the fiber, prevent moisture intrusion and maintain long-term stability of optical fiber transmission performance,enhanced protection should be carried out immediately as soon as fiber splicing is completed and passed the test, using heat shrinkable tube to protect, reinforce and seal the fiber joint part.

Move the fiber optic heat shrinkable tube which is sheathed on the optical fiber to the joint and made the junction is located at the center of the heat shrinkable protection sleeve. Place the fiber heat shrinkable tube in the heater of the fusion splicer gently and heat it under the condition that the fiber is straight. When it is heated, the heat melting tube is softened by heating, the heat shrinkable tube is heated to shrink, and the fiber joint and the strengthening member are tightly wrapped together, thereby achieving the purpose of sealing, fixing and increasing the mechanical strength.
