Marine Metallic Elastic Support - Product Overview:

CB*3321-88 marine metal elastic support is a new series of vibration isolator products using stainless steel wire as elastomer. It is mainly suitable for the elastic installation of marine diesel engine piping system and auxiliary machine pedestal deck structure. It can also be widely applied to various industrial pipeline installation, power machinery, vehicle equipment, instrumentation, etc. for vibration isolation and shock resistance. This marine metal elastic support is especially suitable for variable load and broadband random vibration isolation. When metal elastic supports are used in piping systems, they are often used in conjunction with elastic hangers.

CB*3321-88 marine metal elastic support features:
 

1. Marine metal elastic support has strong hardness and large frictional damping (C/CC reaches 0.2). Therefore, the vibration isolation range is large, the vibration isolation effect is good, and the anti-resonance performance is strong.
2. The metal elastic support has a wide bearing range, and has good equal frequency performance within the rated load range. It is especially suitable for use under variable load conditions, and has excellent vibration isolation and shock resistance.
3. This marine elastic support is made of all-metal material. With anti-fatigue, corrosion resistance, radiation resistance, high and low temperature resistance, long service life.
4. The marine elastic support has two-way vibration isolation and impact resistance, and can continue to work under negative pressure conditions.
5. The vibration isolation system composed of marine metal elastic support can pass the US military standard MIL-STD-167 "Mechanical vibration of ship equipment". The vibration isolation system is resistant to vibration at natural frequency for 2 hours without abnormality.

Installation instructions for marine metal elastic support CB*3321-88:

1. When metal elastic support is selected, according to the weight of the vibration isolating object, it should generally be selected according to the intermediate rated load of the elastic support.
2. In order to meet the needs of the factory or better vibration isolation and impact resistance for the tunnel, it can be used in series, which can reduce the rigidity and reduce the natural frequency of the system.
3. According to the elastic support, the arrangement of each fulcrum corresponds to the center of gravity of the object to be isolated (equipment, pipe or boiler, etc.), so that the elastic support is evenly stressed.

4. When the marine metal elastic support is mounted on the base of the vibration-isolating object, the concave surface of the plane of the base surface is required, and the small hole (d3) on the support body is installed when the base of the vibration-isolating object and the elastic support are installed. A screwdriver can be inserted into the small hole to facilitate the locking of the mounting bolt. (As shown below)

5. When the vibration-isolating object with higher requirements on the level should be adjusted after a period of operation (usually two weeks) after installation.
