Description
Corundum mullite castable is a type of refractory castable that contains a combination of corundum (aluminum oxide, Al2O3) and mullite (aluminum silicate, Al6Si2O13) as its primary constituents. Corundum mullite castables are used for lining the walls, roofs, and floors of industrial furnaces, such as steelmaking furnaces, heat treatment furnaces, and ceramic kilns. They provide excellent thermal insulation and resistance to high temperatures.

Chemical stability: Corundum mullite castables exhibit good resistance to chemical attack from molten metals, slags, and corrosive gases encountered in various industrial processes. They can withstand the corrosive effects of alkalis, acids, and other chemical substances at high temperatures.
