Description
Graphite Petroleum Coke (GPC) is a high-quality carbon material produced by calcining petroleum coke at high temperatures. Petroleum coke is a byproduct of the oil refining process and contains a high percentage of carbon. GPC is commonly used as a raw material in the production of graphite electrodes, which are used in electric arc furnaces to produce steel and other metals.
The properties of GPC, including its high carbon content, low ash content, and low sulfur content, make it an ideal material for use in the production of high-quality steel. GPC is also used in other applications, such as in the production of carbon-based products like brake pads and lubricants.
